Kat was born in Manchester in 1946, and has dedicated her adult life to promoting and developing innovative educational projects for health and peace in this world. This has included Social Science, Oriental philosophy and healing, Tai Chi, Macrobiotic cookery, Shiatsu, Cranio-Sacral therapy, English language, 5 Rhythms dance and latterly Movement Medicine. Kat has now retired from teaching Movement Medicine after 12 wonderful and joyous years. She continues her engagement in the MM community through active membership of the 21 Gratitudes Study Hub, and through meetings with her MM colleages in Switzerland, Italy and UK. She leads a weekly session of music and movement for members of the pensioners club in her village (Brunate, CO) in North Italy. Thanks to a lineage of exceptional teachers, courageous colleagues, enthusiastic students, and the MM Community which values and cherishes Elders.
