Carolyn is a companion through the darkness to help people rediscover who they truly are. Carolyn has been working in mental health and crisis for 20 years. She specialises in the area of suicidality. A Counselling Therapist, Trainer, Consultant, Supervisor and Coach with heart & integrity. Offering Movement Medicine through classes, workshops and 1-2-1 sessions.
Carolyn grew up inside a boarding school system from the age of 8 years old and experienced sexual trauma in her childhood and in adolescence. Through trying to cope with these life experiences this led Carolyn into high risk behaviours, addiction and suicidal despair. Working with and through her own issues, Carolyn has made it her life's purpose to support others to find their true selves and realise their potential.
Carolyn is passionate about movement and dancing and how powerful these are for personal transformation and has witnessed this within her own life. Carolyn has been dancing and studying with the School of Movement Medicine since 2008 and is now an Apprentice Teacher and Facilitator.
Carolyn brings movement, the focus on the physical body, heart connection and the power of nature, into her therapeutic work to support others to connect to their own powerful resources for transformation so they can live a joyful life.
