About Laura

Laura Valenti is a certified Movement Medicine teacher and facilitator. She is also a certified sound&voice therapist and a somatic and trauma-aware coach.    Laura lives in the countryside in Spain, where she offers sessions also to her local community, women victims of domestic violence and vulnerable adults.   She shared her work with various groups in California, Peru, Guatemala and the UK, including people in drug and alcohol rehabilitation,  adults with learning disabilities and indigenous communities.   Laura's background is in Law, Human Rights, Sociology of Migrations and physical theatre. She is a tutor and a professional mentor for the School Of Movement Medicine and attended four advanced levels of training: 1. Dancing With The Heart and SEER (systemic essential energy retrieval). 2. Ceremony and Ritual. 3. Phoneix Process (soul retrieval). 4. Initiation: dancing with life cycles.   Her curiosity and passion for learning led her to study various healing modalities (from Theta Healing to Laugheter Yoga), pursue high professional standards and continue her learning process regularly (she is currently attending a Trauma Therapy course).   Laura is currently working online with groups and individuals. Furthermore, she is preparing a seven-week journey for women who want to plant the seeds for personal and collective healing, belonging, and sacred kinship with all life.    She is originally from Italy, a nomad at heart, clown, lover of good food, music, ritual, community, songs, tales, magic, birds and wilderness.
