Dear women… A warm invitation to join us as we embark on a journey to free our hearts and embody the power of love. Kabbalist’s talk about the three- plaited candle representing body, heart and mind. When these are aligned the light of the soul can fully shine.
In this workshop we will creatively explore the four chambers of the heart - a Movement Medicine map that invites you to take a dance journey through fear, anger, sadness, joy and compassion. As we move with the energy of these feelings we can begin to change our relationship to them and transform the lead of our personal stories into the pure gold of an open, clear and strong heart. No longer needing to keep parts of ourselves hidden or feel controlled by our emotions, we build a strong foundation rooted in the wisdom of an awake and aware heart. When the heart is free and connected, we can direct that energy towards creating our dreams and embodying compassion as a healing vibration into the world.
Gathering with a group of women like this, is a true gift. The feedback has been that the sense of safety created, allows the women to drop more deeply into their practice. We gift each other with our presence and strengthen our feeling of connection and belonging.
The workshop is a creative weaving of movement and dance, art and ritual. Bring together these modalities of expression, offers - richness and depth.
ABOUT MOVEMENT MEDICINE
Movement Medicine is a practice which directs our awareness to our movement, thoughts and feelings, supporting us to get more in touch with who we really are. It is an active and embodied meditation practice, opening the way to deep internal reflection. Through the dance we are invited on a journey of personal empowerment, relationship with community and connection with the creative life force within and around us. Ya’Acov and Susannah Darling Khan, founded the School of Movement Medicine, integrating their experience with a lineage of practices such as Shamanism, 5Rhythms, Gestalt Psychotherapy and Constellations.
Mira graduated from The School of Movement Medicine and intuitively weaves from the rich tapestry of her experience as a dancer, therapist and artist. She creates a safe and sacred space for you to let go into the transformative power of the dance, deepening your connection to the creative life force within and around us. Mira also completed Level 1, 2 and 3 of the school’s Advanced Training levels which includes working with the Heart and SEER process, Movement Medicine Ritual and Ceremony, and the Phoenix Process.
"With Mira’s gentle support I’ve been able to transform old and limiting beliefs I held about myself. In the freedom and creativity of the dance, I‘m discovering more of my true potential and evolving into a place of owning and shining my own light." - Asija
“Thank you so much for taking us on a beautiful journey inwards Mira. It felt so nourishing to move all the stagnant energy with the reminder that the light is returning and the seeds that we have planted are budding, ready to blossom. So gentle but with such strength you hold the space for us all to dive deep – thank you!! I feel like a new person today.” - Nassim
“Mira creates a deeply-held and beautiful, energetically clear sacred space, where I can really honour and feel into my deepest self, my emotions, my body's inner wisdom. Her choice of music is always beautifully chosen - eclectic, honouring many traditions. I can feel Mira's love and her commitment in helping me to honour and feel whatever it is that needs witnessing; enabling me to dance this lovingly into my body, or to gently release whatever is needed from my body.” - Georgia
